Manage Your Guilt Giving Like Un Rey

Manage Your Guilt Giving Like Un Rey

The holidays aren’t over just yet! Es Día de Reyes, and today is when  the  👑 👑 👑 Three Kings brought  baby Jesus the  gifts of gold, frankincense and myrrh.

As we wrap up another holiday season, it’s important to check-in with yourself and your bank account. 🏦💆🏽  The risk of “guilt giving” this season has been real, meaning spending beyond your means on gifts for loved ones because you feel guilty for not being able to celebrate in person.

As the pandemic and quarantine orders continue, adopting a proactive approach and avoiding “guilt giving” will help you keep a clear financial vision as you move forward into the New Year. Porque, your familia loves you, but we’re pretty certain they’d rather you build wealth 💪🏽💵💎 than overspend on un  🎁.

¿Qué? What was that? Two simple ways to avoid guilt giving, you ask? #1) Create a gift budget in advance and stick to it. #2) Should the impulse to splurge strike, dig deep and ask yourself why you’re feeling the need to spend so much. Is it really worth dropping all that dinero on something that might only be temporary?

Are you celebrating Día do los Reyes Magos this year? What did they bring you? Tell us  below  👇🏽
