When we think about credit scores, although there are many, we usually think about 2 different credit scores- FICO Score (FICO8) and a VantageScore (Vantage 3.0).

And while their names are different, they are more similar than you think, just like Maluma and his twin, the wax figure 😉

Both credit score types monitor how a bank potentially lends you money. 💰 Do you pay your bills on time? Do you have a lot of debt? Do you spend more than what you make? 👀 Basically they are that tía chismosa that keeps tabs on your relationship with the bank. 🏦

Each of these scores assign different values (or weights) to the behavior they find on your credit report. Essentially, their goal is to assess if you’re good with your dinero. So you see, it’s always a good idea to make friends EVERYWHERE and keep that cartera tight! 🙌🏽
