Lending Out Money – Trinidad Edition

We all know that awkward moment when a friend asks to borrow some money. Especially as Latin@s, it can be hard to say no since our madres taught us to always help others in need, especially those closest to us. 🙏BUT we’re encouraging you to be like Trinidad and reply back “si quieres dinero, lo siento, no tengo!” 🎶

The truth is when it comes to managing your money, you’re going to have to make some hard decisions. 😰 Telling people you can’t lend them money is one of them. Once you lend money out, it’s easy for people to “take my dinero” and never give it back. And Believe it or not, this might be putting you way behind where you’re meant to be financially! 😱

It’ll be hard at first to tell people no, but it gets easier as you go. 🙏Who knows, maybe when your friends see you being serious about saving money for your future it could influence them to take their finances to the next level as well! 🙌
