We Give Gracias For Zoom!
Thanksgiving 🦃 will definitely be different this year. 😷 You won’t be able to greet la familia with hugs and kisses but at least Zoom has lifted their 40 minute limit from midnight ET on Nov. 26 through 6 a.m. ET on Nov. 27 so you can talk to ALL your herman@s, prim@s, ti@s, abuel@s, vencin@s, etc. etc. etc.
Pero, not being able to see your family in person is only part of the issue for some people. Times are hard financially for a lot of Americans right now.😣
According to research company Ibotta’s 2020 Thanksgiving Survey, more than one-third of Americans will spend less on Thanksgiving this year because of tighter budgets.
So, este Thanksgiving 🦃, gather with your family virtually and cook a simple meal that you can enjoy together. Maybe you can finally learn that recipe you love from your abuelita 😉 Por que is never too late to become a home cook and impress your family next time we can all finally gather.
For now, be thankful you can mute your Tia Dorita’s comments on your quarantine hair dye job.🚫 (Pero, tambien, maybe pink isn’t your color…)
