Black Friday Prayer

As if the Holiday season wasn’t already chaotic enough, this twin-demic (pandemic + flu season) definitely kicks it up a notch, eh? 😷  So we pray to Dios 🙏🏼 that our turkey isn’t dry, for everyone to make it safely through these strange times and for the love of all things rational–the strength to remember that Black Friday is just like any regular Friday! Please take away this inexplicable urge to throw my hard earned cash at a bunch of  chucherías I don’t really need. We know that shiny new television 📺 isn’t a life or death need and the “sales” will continue all season. We pray for the ability to aguantarnos the urge to shop this weekend! Amen.
